I really enjoyed the Museum of the Moving Image. It was so cool to see all of the different movie costumes, sound effects, masks, and props. I loved all the simple things they had on display as well (happy meal toys, star wars collectable watches and toys, etc).It is so interesting to learn what goes on behind the camera. My favorite part of the show was the Jim Hensen exhibit. I grew up watching the Muppets and all of the puppets reminded me of being a kid. There was one video about how they would make the puppets move, and use facial expressions, talk, and interact with other actors. It took about 4 or 5 people just to make one puppet come to life and they all worked together so that when one of them made the character talk, another person would be controlling the face, another the body, and so on. It is fun to see how technology has evolved. Now a days, we have computers to make different characters and things are in 3D etc. I miss the style of puppets and the interactions they have with actors.
